Speed and BT Speedtest profile

Hi
I've just run a BT speedtest, it reports my profile at: 9902 Kbps however the Plusnet Stable Rate page says: Current line speed: 7.15 Mb
Is there a reason for this difference?
Overall I'm happy with the speed of my service, I've recently been moved to ADSL2+ from Max DSL to increase my upload speed and have been more concerned with disconnections (average once a day) than achievable speed.
I've attached some stats:
  --------------------------- ATU-R Info (hw: annex A, f/w: annex A) -----------

Hi nebula,
I've changed that for you now. You should see the increase in the next 15 minutes.

Re: Speed and BT Speedtest profile

Hi, many thanks for looking at my connection.
I've completed internal and external re-wiring combined with isolation tests and managed to achieve a stable connection. Not sure if my efforts have affected my profile as I've disconnected multiple times to try various combinations; at your end my profile now reads:  'Current line speed: 8 Mb'
BT Speedtest reports: 11195 Kbps (attached)
SNR is low, 3 at night and up to 10 in the day -- highest I've ever seen so rewiring has at least made some improvements!

Is there anything else I can do to stabilise my profile?
Thanks

Re: Speed and BT Speedtest profile

I get a similar result to you with the BT test using WiFi, but it is a lot higher using Ethernet.
The PN myspeedtest doesnt seem to care if it is WiFi or ethernet,
