Speed after 12am....

Hi,
Can someone confirm whether this is right or not.  I am on fibre, and i schedule my downloades after 12am every night, but I have noticed that I only get my full speed after 1am.  I thought the free period was from 12am - 8am?

It is but at midnight an awful lot of automatic downloads start so saturating the Plusnet download capacity limit  - this eases off after about an hour

The free period is 12am-8am, however all of the rate limits on Fibre aren't removed until 1am. Take a look at this page: http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/speed_guide/download_speeds.shtml
