Re: Speed Problem Yet AGAIN !!!!!!

Getting beyond a joke now I think...Its quite obvious that BT lied to plusnet about repair or its both of them trying to pull the wool over our eyes by bullshitting us...

Re: Speed Problem Yet AGAIN !!!!!!

I think it is a bit prior to accuse people of lying.
As far as BT are concerned. "Never attribute to malice that which is better explained by incompetence"

Re: Speed Problem Yet AGAIN !!!!!!

I don't care !!! I'm paying £20 a month for a service that I am not receiving and haven't been since before the new year!!!!! All good and well that I can get the rapid speeds during the day, but that's not much use to me when Im at work. People are willing to say anything to someone else to appease them (Keep them quiet!!!) Bad publicity is no good for any business and with keeping this thread at the top of the forum potential NEW customers are going to see the problems that people are having.like they say you cant kid a kidder.. And I still don't care about damn Pirate bay......... Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Re: Speed Problem Yet AGAIN !!!!!!

I'd suggest posting on the thinkbroadband forums (not in the Plusnet board) to see if you can find other people on the same exchange who are with other ISPs.
http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/fibre.html might be the best as they'd be seeing the biggest drop.
If you can it would give Dave more leverage.

Up to you - just suggesting a way that might lead to a quicker resolution.

Re: Speed Problem Yet AGAIN !!!!!!

We are also suffering from poor peak-time thoughput in Alsager. We use ADSL2+ on the unlimited package, reliably syncing at 16Mb/s and get 13Mb/s download during off peak times.
Our broadband used to work well, but I began to notice a deterioration in early December and it has worsened to where we are now. As an example, during the evening, YouTube buffers every 10 seconds or so, making it unusable.
Working fine this morning:

Early evening and the single connection download is starting to slow:

Mid evening and it's all getting slower:

A short time later I ran a comparison test from a different property in Alsager using SKY UNLIMITED ADSL2+ 14Mb/s sync. Full speed on both 1 and 6 connections:
