A few days ago I noticed my FTTC broadband speed has dropped from about 35-37Mbps to around 15-17Mbps.
The openreach modem has not been switched off. I rebooted the router a few times last night (9PM) and today (2PM) to see if it was the gateway I was connected to but it’s still just as slow.
Can someone take a look and see what the problem is?

Edit:
Plusnet member center:
Estimated line speed: 29Mb (Checked on 2014-07-17 17:52:17)
Current line speed: 40 Mb
I can't run the bt speed test diagnostic as changing the username to speedtest@speedtest_domain just make the router fail to connect.

HI that BT test hasn't worked for some time now, just go here http://speedtest.btwholesale.com
ignore the red text and run the test when it completes run the further diagnostic option to see what the BT Profile is currently at.

Hi owainb,
I've ran some tests and everything looks fine.
Like Terranova667 said, if you can run a full test on http://speedtest.btwholesale.com this will give us more information. Also make sure that you are doing the tests hard wired.

I think its my wifi PCIe card in my desktop as i can get 38Mbps with a massive lan cable and 36Mbps from my tablet but only 10-20Mbps on wifi on my desktop.
No idea why it’s suddenly slowed down as it says it’s connected at 144.5Mbps. There are no other wifi networks in the area using the same channel and the router is set to N only.
