A few days ago I was emailed informing me that I was about to exceed my usage. It showed that I had about 250mb download left. Today I get another email informing me that i have now exceeded my limit or in other words in the space of less than a week I downloaded 250 mbs. Historicaly with my other ISP I rarely exceeded 400mb download with the average working out at just over 250 mbs per month. I am doing nothing different so why have I exceeded my 1GB limit so quick? I am beginning to smell a rat!

Rats are horrible things
Have you looked at your usage via the member centre VMBU?
Looking at it from our side shows fairly consistent web traffic with a small amount of streaming (7%) in there too.
The detailed breakdown will show what you have used on any given day. Let me know if there are any discrepancies or days which don't add up and we'll take a look, but so far all seems in order.
Whilst there is no significant usage on any given day, can you advise if you are connected by wireless or wired router?
