Ok well i had it set @ 1.5db with 17066kbps sync and 25.5 alt down
I had it like that for 4-5days
now i set set my router to 3db and i have 17715kbps and 26db
a bit off for such an increase in speed does this have something to do with the BT DLMs or BT working somewhere on my line ?
Also plusnet line speed is 13mb & BT is 15.6mb

All it means is that at the time of the latest sync noise conditions on the line were such that 3dB noise margin could be met at a sync speed of 17715kbps. At the previous sync noise levels on the line would have been higher so that even 1.5dB noise margin could only be met at a sync speed of 17066kbps.

Hi Epyon,
Tweaking like that can cause a lot of problems with the DLM. I'm not sure I'd be too worried really, with getting speeds in that vicinity there's not likely to be a great deal of difference in performance.
