So far not happy

After all the raves i got on Facebook from friends, decided to switch to plusnet after having nothing but hassle with BT,so got mac code  paid first month in advance and waited, according to Plusnet website 5-7 days  now been 18days looking at order tracker it says  "checking line" for past 10days,so  maybe this was a bad choice in the end..and yes raised a ticket 48hrs later no reply ,so looks like customer service is not that brilliant, really considering cancelling it and fight for the refund
yes not happy Undecided

Re: So far not happy

Hi vicky1959,
I'm really sorry to hear your order hasn't been progressed.
Unfortunately I'm not in the office until Monday morning but I'd be happy to take a look for you then if you'd like? If you would like this investigated any earlier over the weekend then you would have to call our Support team on 0800 432 0200.

If you don't call nothing is done took 14 days to get phone done, and now another 10 days to get broadband.
Speed of PN  to transfer like lighting  lmao.

new connection

Ok just had fibre turned on bit shocked on speeds, when i was with BT had connection 76mb/18mb [stable from start for 18months] on a 80/20 connection now have same on PN but only getting

will this increase decrease over 10day period for a 80/40 connection seems way off

just done wholesale BT test looks like restricted to 40mb  ,
Download speedachieved during the test was - 35.73 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 20 Mbps-38.71 Mbps .
Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is - 38.71 Mbps

PN
"Estimated line speed:
74Mb (Download speed could vary depending on line conditions. Estimates are the maximum speeds that your phone line can support. These speeds are dependent on the package you choose.) - Checked on 2014-02-27 14:02:55
Current line speed:
    78 Mb "

Hi vicky1959,
Sorry to hear this. I've placed the order to modify this for you (to allow up to 80Mbps download speed and up to 20Mbps upload speed) and this is due to complete in the next 24 hours. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Re: So far not happy

Hi vicky1959,
I've just had a look at your line and it seems to be underperformed due to something causing errors - this can be interference internally/externally.
I would advise raising a fault with us at http://faults.plus.net so we can get that sorted out for you.
