Re: Slower speed

So, you are getting Fibre unlimited speeds. If you have fibre unlimited extra, then PN will have to change your settings from 40/20 to 80/20.
Plusnet FTTC (Sep 2014), Essentials (Feb 2013); ADSL (Apr 2009); Customer since Jan 2004 (on 28kb dial-up)
Using a TP-Link Archer VR600 modem-router.

Re: Slower speed

Hi Duckman60
I've just checked over your account and can see that everything is provisioned correctly.
I've sent you an email detailing all the relevant checks for you to do!
Can you also confirm if you're using a wired connection?

Re: Slower speed

Hi thanks for the email speeds are now at 67mb wired and 50mb wireless, would it be worth changing the router to see if that would improve the speed over the wireless connection, also have full signal and all devices are "N"

Re: Slower speed

Morning Duckman60
It would be really hard for me to comment on the quality of your wireless connection and I wouldn't like to say that a new router would definitely help you get better speeds.
From what I've seen, I would suggest doing a bit of channel swapping first to see if you can get an improvement. If you can resolve it this way you'll save yourself a few quid  Wink
If you don't have any joy after this and if your happy with the outlay for a third party router, then it's definitely worth a try!
