Hello I am getting a slower speed I am in fibre plus I am getting a download speed of around 40mb and upload of around 20mb this is on wireless or wired connection
I have added a pic of what I should be getting I had the fibre broadband installed in the 18/9/14 I know it is still within the 10 days the BT man that came out sail I should get around 80mb download and 20mb upload please help.

So, you are getting Fibre unlimited speeds. If you have fibre unlimited extra, then PN will have to change your settings from 40/20 to 80/20.

Yes sorry I am on the fibre extra so I should be getting about 30 to 40 mb faster download speeds

Hi thanks for the email speeds are now at 67mb wired and 50mb wireless, would it be worth changing the router to see if that would improve the speed over the wireless connection, also have full signal and all devices are "N"

It would be really hard for me to comment on the quality of your wireless connection and I wouldn't like to say that a new router would definitely help you get better speeds.
From what I've seen, I would suggest doing a bit of channel swapping first to see if you can get an improvement. If you can resolve it this way you'll save yourself a few quid
If you don't have any joy after this and if your happy with the outlay for a third party router, then it's definitely worth a try!
