Slow upload speed what can I do?

Hi, dl is around 20mbs,upload is 1mbs according to speedtest. However it feels way slower than that. I.e. a 300 meg file takes about 20 minutes where according to the speedtest it should be more like 5 minutes?

Working from home and I am having to upload a lot of data. Mostly meaning I need to leave the computer uploading at the end of each day. Is there anything I can do to get a better upload speed?

Resetting router etc, makes no difference.

@eggsbenedict If you are on ADSL, the max upload speed profile is 1.2Mb/s, and from the information you have posted, you are getting very close to that.

If you are uploading and downloading at the same time, then your actual upload will be considerably less.

Resetting the router will not have any effect - you can't change the physics.

Yeah I thought as much, I'll have to look into getting an upgrade in that case.
