Hi,
I've been connected a week or two now and download speed has been fine (about 30% slower than previous provider) but upload speeds are 1/2 to 1/3 of before. Uploading photos took much longer than usual.
Router stats for MAX sync speeds are much as they have always been (line attenuation is lower!):
"Max data rate 1188/9580"
The stats are:
1.Router Stats:
Upstream:
noise margin 29.7
speed 443
attenuation 18.4
Downstream:
noise margin 6.1
speed 9580
attenuation 40.5
2. BT Wholesale Test
Download speed achieved during the test was - 5.93 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 4 Mbps-21 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 8.46 Mbps
Upload speed achieved during the test was - 0.35Mbps
Additional Information:
Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 0.45 Mbps
3. Current Line Speed.
Postcode:Phone exchange:CHELTENHAMEstimated line speed:6Mb (This may vary between 3Mb and 8Mb) - Checked on 2015-03-09 20:09:31Current line speed:8.4 Mb
Thanks,
Ro.

Quote speed 443
Your upstream is capped. I'm sure the DCT guys will pick this up during the day and place an order to uncap it for you.
Clearly, despite many promises, Plusnet are still providing new users on a capped upstream. You should get at least twice as much upstream once the capping has been removed.

Definitely a case of being on the horrible capped product.
No doubt that a staff member will uncap it for you, if you ask

That did it, thanks. 1Mb+ this morning and a modestly faster down sync.
