Re: Slow speed

I usually use the plusnet speedtester but I do use the BT one aswell heres the latest one, and just to confirm this has been the average speed results for the last few days.
Download speedachieved during the test was - 4158 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 1000-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :8328 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 440 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 6500 Kbps
The throughput of Best Efforts (BE) classes achieved during the test is - 15.38:31.79:52.83 (SBE:NBE:PBE)
These figures represent the ratio while sententiously passing Sub BE, Normal BE and Priority BE marked traffic.
The results of this test will vary depending on the way your ISP has decided to use these traffic classes

Re: Slow speed

There is the answer - and Ben has fixed it.  Grin
However I am not sure why the IP profile isn't higher unless you had a slightly lower sync in the last few days

Re: Slow speed

Thanks Ben for that quick responce. I'm now getting download speeds of 5990, but can I just add that I am on ADSL2+ and last week I was averaging download speeds of 7000+ and with the router stats that i'm showing I thought it would still be getting around this figure.

Re: Slow speed

Sorry replies must have crossed. No its been constant at that, the only reason it shows 4 days is I replaced my router for a new one from plusnet, but it was showing same stats on old thompson 580WL,

Re: Slow speed

Based on your synchronisation speed you'll get a 7150 profile if the line remains stable.
