Slow, slow, very very slow
Just wanted to let you know that a BT engineer came last Thursday and fitted a new ADSL adapter. His test equipment indicated that my potential download speed could be up to 5000 kbps. Nothing much happened re my download speed for a few days, but I am delighted to say that today it is registering at around 4400 kbps. 
This is a huge improvement, so thank you very much for all your help.
I still have problems connecting wirelessly through my new router, but I think it might be more helpful if I started a separate thread on that issue.
