Slow fibre speed (new setup)

BT came and upgraded me to fibre yesterday and all seemed fine, the engineer's tester gave 75Mb. Logging on this evening I noticed that things seemed slow so ran a speedcheck (myspeedcheck and BT) and both gave me 1.6 download, but 15-16 upload.
I've tried the usual reboot, etc but no effect, however my profile gives;
Estimated line speed:
    66Mb (Accurate to within +/- 1Mbit) - Checked on 2013-06-11 21:27:57
Current line speed:
    1.8 Mb

Looking at previous queries with the same fault, I'm wondering if this needs tweaking?
Thanks.

Hi freebird795,
Welocme to our community forums,
I've bumped your profile to match your sync speed so you should now see the benefits of your fibre service  Smiley

Re: Slow fibre speed (new setup)

Thanks for the quick response.
I'm now getting 30+ on wireless, and 40+ on ethernet (with my ancient netbook)
Now, if I could just re-arrange the house so I could plug my PC into ethernet I reckon I'd get 50+  Grin
