Re: Slow connection and dropping out

Unless the reported errors are inaccurate the one that worries me is the upstream CRC errors

Re: Slow connection and dropping out

Hi, I've checked your connection logs and they're definitely intermittent. I can see that you've started the faults checker so please complete it, stating that your connection keeps dropping and the faults team will be in touch.

Re: Slow connection and dropping out

I have completed the checks, still waiting for a response from plusnet
PPP on router drops off but dsl line still showing, adsl link reset is required every time it does this.

Re: Slow connection and dropping out

Having sorted out the internal phone wiring we are now syncing at 14333/444 kbps but our IP profile is stuck at 6000 kbps. Can someone look into this please. Also we were on uncapped upstream before but this appears to be capped now.
Thanks
Sparky

Download speedachieved during the test was - 4463 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 1000-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :14333 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 444 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 6000 Kbps
The throughput of Best Efforts (BE) classes achieved during the test is - 22.12:25.02:52.86 (SBE:NBE:PBE)
These figures represent the ratio while sententiously passing Sub BE, Normal BE and Priority BE marked traffic.
The results of this test will vary depending on the way your ISP has decided to use these traffic classes.

Re: Slow connection and dropping out

The Faults Team have got your update from yesterday on the ticket, the next stage is to put the circuit through full manual testing again and then report this to BT. As soon as we've resolved the intermittancy you'll get a better profile and we can then uncap your upstream. I wouldn't recommend that we uncap your upstream now as this only has the potential to cause further problems.
