Slow broadband

Hello,
We've been with Plus Net for around a year now but in the last month we've noticed our speed has dropped significantly and today we are experiencing problems with the connection being very slow.
When we first got the connection we were estimated speeds close to the 70mb mark, and we frequently got into the 60s. Now though, through a wired connection to the router we are seeing speeds topping out in the 40s. The upload speed is still consistent though at between 18 and 19mb.
We also have the "Pro" option selected on our account.
Could it please be investigated why the speed of our service appears to be getting slower?

I've just been performing some diagnostic checks which don't show me any obvious issues so I'd advise reporting a fault here: http://faults.plus.net
