I've had a problem with my router freezing for more than a month.
I've replaced it and have better looking stats (for my line):
DSL Connection Details
DSL Line (Wire Pair): Line 1 (inner pair)
Protocol: G.DMT2 Annex A
Downstream Rate: 573 kbps
Upstream Rate: 435 kbps
Channel: Fast
Current Noise Margin: 14.5 dB (Downstream) 5.3 dB (Upstream)
Current Attenuation: 63.0 dB (Downstream) 44.9 dB (Upstream)
Current Output Power: 15.0 dBm (Downstream) 12.4 dBm (Upstream)
DSLAM Vendor Information: Country: {0xB5} Vendor: {IFTN} Specific: {0xBE71}
PVC Info: 0/38
Before my problems I was syncing at 1000-1400 kpbs. Now it seems to be permanently restricted to 573 kbps.
I am on a very long line but was happy with what I had before.
Is it possible for my connection to be 'reset' so that it will recognise these new, more stable, conditions? I don't really know the terminology of what to ask for.
Thank you.

Hi there,
Sounds like you need an SNR reset which will do what you're asking. We need to know that the line's stable before we do that though, and while yours does show some longer connections now it seems it dropped connection at midday and didn't get back online for almost half an hour after that? If that was yourself disconnecting and reconnecting though please let us know.

Hi there.
Thank you for the prompt response.
I confirm that it was me disconnecting and reconnecting earlier getting everything in order so that I can leave the router in peace.
Thank you.

Ah, good news, thanks for that
In that case it's fine to do the SNR reset, it's been actioned for you and should take effect within the next couple of hours or so. Hope it settles at a better speed for you.
