Hi, I've moved this from my last thread within a thread in case its been missed. Sunday 26 Dec 2010 I found my speed had dropped again to around 168k. I reported it under Question #37920947 (ongoing), but nobody seems to be looking at it. Can somebody do a reset to my normal 4meg connection please, as Joane did on the 17 December?

HI tssk,
I'm looking into that now for you. I'll let you know when I have more information.

Hi tssk,
I'm afraid it's not as simple as last time. This time the reason it's so low is because your SNR is high at 19dB. I can reset this to 6dB which will lift your sync rate but It's not worth me doing it until we find out why the noise ratio is so high. Apart from the fact that it could go straight up again it will also put your line into the 10 day training period which will only delay any fault process we instigate.
I would first of all carry out the checks here, especially connecting to the test socket and then we can take it from there.
