Hi guys
I'm having problem with my broadband.
Since last week it is slower than old good dial modem.
I used to have 1.1 mb download average since I joined PLUSNET on november but something happend.
The fastest I can download is 70kB/s.
When I got two computers on - we can barely browse websites.
I reset router, i check filters, line etc.
Here are some stats from my router:
Uptime: 0 days, 11:36:46
DSL Type: ITU-T G.992.3
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 77 / 913
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [MB/GB]: 284,16 / 1,99
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 11,2 / 0,0
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 60,4 / 60,5
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 5,1 / 1,5
System Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / ----
Chipset Vendor ID (Local/Remote): BDCM / IFTN
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): -
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 212 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 4.940.991
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 16 / 2.112
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 17 / 20.524
First I blamed Christmas and all these new tablets and smartphones getting connected but it taking too long now.
Any help?

more tests I ran:
PLUSNET site says:
Estimated line speed:
11Mb (This may vary between 6.5Mb and 15Mb) - Checked on 2012-11-16 13:41:05
Current line speed:
11 Mb
http://www.speedtester.bt.com/
Download speed achieved during the test was - 0.63 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 0.4 Mbps-1 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 0.81 Mbps
http://www.speedtest.net
Download: 0.81 Mbps
Upload: 0.04 Mbps
This is ridiculous - even my phone can get better results.

Hi novak100,
Welcome to the community forum
How are your speeds this morning, I can see that there was a big dip in your speed on the 23rd but it has seems to have jumped back up to what it was?

How do you connect to your router, wired or wireless? If it is wireless you need to run a test wired to establish whether it is the wireless connection which is slow or the internet connection.

Hi
seems to be working fine now but...
Yesterday during night time I was testing router against master socket and results were the same. I unscrewed front pane and tested against test socket - same again.
Then I accidentally disconnected cables from master socket to front pane and for some strange reason internet started working faster. Honestly, confused.com I am right now
But hey, speed is back to 10.5mb/s
I only have to figure it out how to properly connect cables to front pane as there are about 10 different ones there.
