My broadband connection speed has deteriorated since Friday. It's normally around 2.5 Mbps (we're stuck in a long-running situation with OpenReach over getting the building connected to fibre). It's been over a year since this last happened, although that time the connection would alternate between slow and down completely - so far, I've not had the connection drop completely.
I've confirmed this isn't a wi-fi issue, nor does rebooting the router make any difference.
Router (Netgear DG834G) is reporting:
Connection Speed: 1056 kbps (downstream), 672 kbps (upstream)
Line Attenuation: 61 db (down), 15.5 db (up)
Noise Margin: 15 db (down), 11 db (up)
BT Speedtest:
Ping: 35ms
Download: 0.66 Mbps
Upload: 0.73 Mbps
No reported faults with the exchange.

@john_chandler Welcome to the forums. From the data you have supplied, there is little that can be done about the speeds - you are a loooong way from your exchange, but your Noise margins, however look a little bit high.
I can't offer much advice - you really need Plusnet staff input, but it may take a little while as they are short staffed at the moment and prioritising those with no connection.

Thanks for the reply @jab1 - I guess I'll have to wait for Plusnet staff.
I'm really hoping this year we'll have our apartment block upgraded, as our neighbours have 200+ Mbps. OpenReach missed us a few years back because they used an old map (the block was built ten years ago), and then three years ago we got missed again when the neighbouring block was finally upgraded. They did another survey of the building June 2019, and we were told 6-8 weeks... we're still chasing. Ho hum.

I'm sorry that your connection speed has dropped and for any inconvenience that this is causing. Together with our network partners at Openreach we are prioritising customers who don’t have a phone line or broadband connection, meaning there might be a delay in speed faults being fixed. In the meantime, please raise your speed fault online at faults.plus.net.

Hi Emily. Thanks, I've just filed a fault report.
I note from the router logs that the connection was down briefly this morning - didn't note this in the report as it only occurred to me to check afterwards!
