Here we go again, impossible ping for gaming !!  Seems like i have to gateway hop almost everyday to get decent pings , but they're not usually this bad !! Angry

The interesting aspect of that trace is that the delays are inside the Plusnet network. I thought all the work they trumpeted about having completed in yesterdays service status post was supposed to fix that! Sad

Fixing the network wasn't really to make sure ICMP packets travel across the network as fast as possible though. The last hop is fine, and that packet is still travelling across the same servers - I suspect the slowdowns are in the ICMP response from the gateway rather than the packet travelling across the network.
