Simultaneous phone and fibre install

Hi Folks,
I've just moved to Plusnet and I'm expecting the install tomorrow Smiley
Apparently I've been booked a simultaneous phone and fibre install between 8am and 1pm tomorrow.
However, my email says that broadband will be live by 12pm on the 13th.
Seems a little strange, or is this normal ?
This is a query, not a complaint.  Just trying to understand why I'm going to get phone one day and broadband the next.

It's definitely all due to happen tomorrow. The message mentioning the 13th is a legacy from the days of us needing to manually activate broadband accounts on the day following an activation so sorry for any confusion.

When I moved across to PN about a month ago the phone went off first thing in the morning. The OR guys came at 1:00pm and did the biz and Fibre BB was on in no time. The phone followed a couple of hours later.
The way the OR guy did the job it seemed to be normal that they did it without a working phone line!

Thanks for the info Geoff.
My phone number was changed around 2.55am according to an email I've received and works fine.
Exising broadband connection current syncs 2Meg higher than before, not that it really maters.
Hopefully OR will be here before 1pm.
Bit confused by confirmation email telling my phone is active.  It says that as my phone and broadband will be activated at different times there will be a discount off my next bill !
Not sure 12 hours can really be called different times.

That's a generic message as that's what happens in the majority of cases but maybe we should look at rewording that too!

Install all went to plan.  Friendly OR engineer too.
Sync at 80/20 Smiley
Getting 73Mbps down/15mbps up on speedtest.net.
