Signing up new user

If you sign up a new user for Broadband, is the 0845 dial-up available immediately (i.e. before the broadband is activated)?

Re: Signing up new user

It certainly was when I signed up for a new broadband service on a line free of broadband.  I was able to use my new account through dial-up immediately after I'd completed the sign-up process.  (Of course one doesn't include @realm for dial-up logon.)

Excellent - this is for a friend currently on Orange dial-up. They are also getting a new PC so I won't have to configure the Orange dial-up connection on that.
