Should my upload speeds be this low

Hi
I'm using Plusnet unlimied broadband ADSL.
I know UL speeds are way lower than DL speeds in general but mine seem much lower than many people I know on similar setups.
My DL speeds are consistently 16-17 Mbps but my UL speeds are usually around 0.35 Mbps.
I would have expected this to be around 1 Mbps given what I have head others on ADSL getting.
I have tested this at various times of the day/week.
I am running all my devices wirelessly off the router by have a strong signal.
Any advice gratefully received.

Hi djp24 and welcome to the forums,
The upload speeds are normal for the 448k service which you were on. However, that said, I've uncapped it now for you and you should get closer to 1Mbit (depending on what your line supports) within 24 hours.

Hi djp24,
Your upload is looking impressive now at just over the 1Mbit. Throughputs will be around that level.
Remember, if you want faster, it looks like we can provide fibre on your number.
