Should I Be Worried?

Hi there,
I've noticed within my routers logs, I have an awful lot of:
kernel: Intrusion -> IN=ppp_0_0_38_1 OUT= MAC= SRC=41.133.234.13 DST=146.200.159.227 LEN=52 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x80 TTL=117 ID=8008 DF PROTO=TCP SPT=62258 DPT=27032 WINDOW=8192 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0
I have only seen this come about since I had a BT Engineer out to sort out the wiring and my profile: http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,132721.0.html
Not sure if it is coincidence or what?

Re: Should I Be Worried?

Hi there,
I'd certainly not worry.
The message means that the router has detected an intrusion attempt and has done it's job to block it.
Such things can be commonplace but rest assured that the vast majority of commercially available broadband hardware will prevent that from having any effect.
