Setting up email for the Nexus 7

As above.  I have found the page that tells you how to set up an ipad etc., but how do I set up an android tablet.  It keeps saying server not connected but I am connected to my plusnet wifi with no problems.

"Server" means the Plusnet computer that sends (or receives) your email.  The servers are
POP3:  mail.plus.net
IMAP: imap.plus.net
SMTP: relay.plus.net
