Service activated, internet authentication failed

Hello,
I got an email saying my service had been activated. Plugged router in - red internet light.
Logged in to router - authentication failed message. Definitely using the correct username and password (xxx@plusdsl.net / password I use to login to plusnet user login).
I retried a few times and the light went green once with the router reporting being connect with IPv4, but not IPv6 and still no internet access. Seemed to be no rhyme or reason as to why it went green that one time.
Can anyone help?

Hi Kaish,
I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to authenticate. Can you please restart your router and see if that sorts the issue for you?
I've changed a couple of settings on the back end which I think should resolve the issue.
