Re: Service Status 82648

Hi Dennis,
We've just updated the service status as the issues we were seeing seem to have now been resolved.
If you are still having problems, I would recommend raising a fault here so we can take a look into it for you.
Cheers,
Dan

Re: Service Status 82648

I Hope its a line fault here too - but we'll have to wait and see. i even re-flashed the router firmware in a vague attempt at eliminating my equipment.
no difference noted as yet. Thanks to Dan for taking notice.

Openreach engineer came yesterday morning but the ticket hasn't been updated. Sad

Hi Dennis,
Is everything alright with the connection? It certainly looks fine. Though I've just upped the profile to match the new speeds.

Re: Service Status 82648

So far so good Dan. The Openreach engineer couldn't find any fault after testing so he changed the NTE5 (only had an old type box).
The download speed has dropped since earlier today though:
Wed 10/09/14 12:46 11.50 Mbps 10.54 Mbps 0.75 Mbps 87.112.xxx.xxx Plusnet
Wed 10/09/14 13:59 6.10 Mbps 5.95 Mbps 0.98 Mbps 84.93.xxx.xxx        Plusnet
Wed 10/09/14 15:25 5.88 Mbps 5.82 Mbps 0.96 Mbps 84.93.xxx.xxx   Plusnet

Re: Service Status 82648

I can't edit the above post so just to say the speeds are still slow and have just dropped connection for about 10 mins.

Re: Service Status 82648

Hey Dennis,
Your line went a bit mental yesterday which seems to have caused the speed drops. I've reset the line again to manually increase them again. However, if this doesn't go through DLM should increase them over the next few days as the line is now stable.
Dan
P.S I've just seen the message about the drop, that's because I was testing the line.

Re: Service Status 82648

Thanks Dan, I will keep an eye on it.
If it's still playing up after a few days shall I reply to the ticket if it's still open or raise another fault?
