Re: Sept, Dec, March and June what do they have in common?

My cabinet was delayed through the 'placeholder' dates of March, June, Sept and Dec since March 2011.
However, light at the end of the tunnel.  After the FTTC cab was actually installed at the beginning of November, it actually went live for orders at the end of January and I had my FTTC installed yesterday!
(Yes, I was the first order and the first installation in the cabinet ;))

In British and Irish tradition, the quarter days were the four dates in each year on which servants were hired, and rents were due.

The English quarter days (also observed in Wales and the Channel Islands) are:
    Lady Day (25 March)
    Midsummer Day (24 June)
    Michaelmas (29 September)
    Christmas (25 December)

Sorry to learn of your frustration I'm personally in the same boat having seen a few placeholder dates go by and a March one approaching...
