Second Router Configuration

Hi,
My simple problem is that I am trying to use a Cisco EA6500 router as a WIFI and USB HDD hub connected via ethernet to a Plusnet TG582n and would be grateful for some configuration settings IP/Subnet/Gateway etc.
My phone line (and therefore Plusnet TG582n) is located in a position where I have very poor wifi signal to the main computer and the rest of the house. I have a Cisco EA6500 router which I can connect via a 10 meter ethernet cable to the TG582n which then provides a much better location for the WIFI signal.
Thanks
Jonathan

Re: Second Router Configuration

Try configuring the EA6500 in Bridge mode (Access Point/Switch), otherwise the LAN to LAN option described in this link will also work.
http://kb.linksys.com/Linksys/ukp.aspx?pid=80&vw=1&articleid=3733

Set the IP address of the EA6500 to use
IP address 192.168.1.253
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
(default gateway 192.168.1.254)
ex-Plusnet (ADSL, FTTC) 2008-2023. now BT (FTTP) 2023-

Some TG582's have a USB port and 252/3 are used for the media server. Probably best to use 192.168.1.63 which is out of the default DHCP range ( 64-253 )
