SafeGuard - Whitelisting WhatsApp

Hi,

I have social media blocked as a category but would like to unblock, specifically, WhatApp.  I have entered *.whatsapp.net into the allow sites section but My WhatsApp client still cannot connect.  Does anyone know how to achieve this without unblocking the whole category?
