SNRM going a bit daft.

Don't know what happened at 17:43. Presumably a drop in sync at a bad time of the day Undecided

Looks like a router reboot is needed at a better time of the day.

Re: SNRM going a bit daft.

Or has DLM decided to raise your target noise margin to 9dB? Sad

Re: SNRM going a bit daft.

Looks like it as a reboot left it stuck up there.

Download speedachieved during the test was - 9.89 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 4 Mbps-21 Mbps.
IP Profile for your line is - 9.96 Mbps

Time for a line reset request methinks.

Re: SNRM going a bit daft.

As you have a Billion BiPac 7800N, have you tried setting the target SNR, to say 4.5dB, on the '/snr.cgi' page ?

Re: SNRM going a bit daft.

@Strat,
I just ran an SNR reset for you and have since tested the line and can see that the SNR is now 6.1db so you should see some improvement to speeds too Smiley

Re: SNRM going a bit daft.

@Adam thanks for that and yes everything is back to 'normal'. Smiley
@purleigh thanks  I was aware of that page but 1) my line might not take kindly to a forced SNRM at that level and 2) I prefer the BT system to pick it's own even though it does get it wrong occasionally. Smiley
