Do you think plusnet (or any isp) will/could give the costumer the power to set their own Target SNR ?
It would be easy to add the option to the router software?

If a line is capable of being stretched a little then PlusNet ought to be capable of setting an appropriate SNRM. My line has an attenuation over 50dB and has run 350 days without break at a 3dB SNRM, despite an initial reluctance to lower the target from 6dB.

But we got some interference from something and the SNRM got bumped up to 9.
We found out that the interference came from the WiFi extender part of my turned that off and the interference stop
Shame I cant get the SNRM back to 3dB
