SNR target

Was wondering if you could lower my target SNR to 6dB, ive kept my router plugged in for about 3 weeks now only resetting from the router firmware. Been syncing at much lower speeds than my last isp and this seems to be the problem  Huh
Router Stats :

Uptime: 0 days, 4:05:06
DSL Type: G.992.1 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 6,496
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 19.5
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 10.0 / 19.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 24.0 / 14.5
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / TSTC
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 0
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 11
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 9
Any advice would be appreciated Smiley

Re: SNR target

If we request an SNR reset then it'll restart the 10 day training period on your line, let me know if you still want to go ahead with this.

Re: SNR target

I'm not actually sure if I'll be able to request it while an order is going through, I'll give it a try though.

Re: SNR target

It can't be done until the order completes, whilst an order is in progress the asset (broadband on the line) isn't 'active' so we can't perform any actions on it.

Re: SNR target

Should be in the progress of being reset, you might see fluctuations in speed over the next 10 days whilst it goes through the training period again.

Re: SNR target

Just wondering has interleaving been turned back on or is it just because its the 10 day training period, pings are around 45ms when they were 25ms before  Lips_are_sealed

Re: SNR target

It's not showing as active on BT's systems, does your router give you the status?
