Hi there,
Could one of the Plus.net guys or gals take a look at my connection as the SNR seems to be very low in the evenings accompanied by very slow download speeds which are making Netflix, iPlayer, etc continuously buffer.
I have tried reconnections and router resets to no avail.
I saw Jojo make some tweaks on another post which seemed to sort the problem.
Many thanks,
Hugh

Hi there podman,
No, I have a Netgear DG834G v3.
Of course, this morning the downstream SNR is back to 5db and connection is fine.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Hugh

Hmm. If the sync rate and SNR are actually changing then it'll be something near your premises or the exchange as there's nothing we can do that would change those stats. It could be some piece of electrical equipment in a nearby house perhaps, if it always happens at the same time it's well worth looking to see if anything gets turned on nearby that could be causing it - street lights or heating, things like that?

Nothing obvious, and it doesn't always happen. Just that if it dies it tends to be in the evenings.
Thanks,
Hugh

I'd advise raising a fault with us @hughconway https://portal.plus.net/apps/kbdfaults when doing so you should have an opportunity to enter some notes about the issues you're having in the evenings.

I've had a go with yours but it will probably be Monday before it takes effect
