It's got to the point now where the internet barely works due to this. The downstream noise margin keeps fluctuating from a high of about 7.4 to 0.0 and even into minus figures at times. I did have a ticket open due to the constantly DSL disconnecting and the support team applied interleaving. That seemed to sort it out, but then the internet started to drop but the DSL stayed connected. Now though, neither are dropping but the line is nigh on unusable.
--- DSL Information ---

DSL Upstream Rate: 440 Kbps
DSL Downstream Rate: 10043 Kbps

DSL Noise Margin: 0.2 dB 21.2 dB
DSL Attenuation: 34.0 dB 17.1 dB
DSL Transmit Power: 0.0 dBm 11.3 dBm

Hi Azagoth,
Looks like the fault ticket is still open at present, I'd recommend passing that back to our team who'll get it picked up and reraised for you. The line is definitely still dropping:

Probably worth going with the engineer visit in all honesty, we might be looking at a REIN issue here possibly but whether that's the case or not the engineer will be the best person to investigate.

It's started doing it again after a week or so of being OK, or at least when I was present it was OK. SNR drops right down which causes the internet to disconnect but the DSL stays lit. Then it automatically reconnects once the SNR rises again.
I've added this to my ticket, including what you said about it being a possible REIN issue and a link to this thread.
