SNR fluctuating

Is this common folks? Downstream SNR was at 8.9db last night, it's now at a staggering 18.90dB!

Re: SNR fluctuating

No it's not....unless you've experienced line instability (re syncs) during the night that has caused the exchange DLM to raise your SNRM to try and stabilise it.

Re: SNR fluctuating

Or, you synced during a period of lots of noise, and the noise has subsequently disappeared, without a resync.

Re: SNR fluctuating

Thanks for the replies chaps - I'm well new to ADSL. It's sorted itself out now - back at my usual 15dB. Should stop checking my router stats every couple of hours I suppose. But it's all new to me and vaguely fascinating.
