So i waited a few days as Jameseh suggested and my connection is alot faster, and completely stable.
Link Information
Uptime: 0 days, 3:35:20
DSL Type: G.992.1 annex A
Bandwidth (Up/Down) [kbps/kbps]: 448 / 2,656
Data Transferred (Sent/Received) [kB/kB]: 0.00 / 0.00
Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.0 / 18.5
Line Attenuation (Up/Down) [dB]: 28.5 / 50.0
SN Margin (Up/Down) [dB]: 20.0 / 12.5
Vendor ID (Local/Remote): TMMB / TSTC
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
Loss of Link (Remote): 0
Error Seconds (Local/Remote): 0 / 0
FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 21,817
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 32
HEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 28
Seeing around 2mb throughput.. so things are alot better
Now that i've waited and it's more stable, can my target SNR be changed to 6?
Would appreciate if anyone could get it set to this for me, to see if i can get an even better speed.
Thanks again
Tj

There are two things which worry me about that information.
There is no value included for data transfer and the corrected errors seem a little high for only 3 hours 35 minutes up time with that noise margin.
Can you confirm that the router has only been connected since about 9.00 this morning.
If the uptime is correct I wouldn't consider a drop of noise margin to lower than 9dB but in the meantime it would be better to provide the stats this evening after dark to see what has happened to the noise margin and the errors.
Just to add - these are my stats with a last resych on the 16th April (2 and a half weeks) and most of the errors happen after dark when the noise margin drops to about 6dB

Yeah the router was only turned on this morning, "was off over night."
There's been no loss of sync, the only thing i can think of that would cause those errors is sometimes IE decides not to work on my PC.. "Just says connecting to site -insert ip here- and never gets passed that step."
Whereas on other PC / laptop this never happens.
I'll post the stats later tonight and see if there's any change.

Looking at your earlier post http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,76036.msg609531.html#msg609531
After we see the results this evening we may have a better idea as to what is going on and suggest further actions/tests
and assuming that this was after the fault was fixed something still isn't right.
