SNR Change Please

Can someone please change my snr to 3db?
i have a very stable connection. I usually set my router to tweak from 6 to 3 but for some reason it is not making any changes today after an unexpected power cycle.
Thanks

I've just resubmitted that for you, you should notice a difference within the next hour or so.

Re: SNR Change Please

I did notice a difference! Internet stopped working completely since the 22. No DSL light and no sync. For the first time I'm not happy with plus net at all. Told on the phone 3 days to fix minimum.

Re: SNR Change Please

I'm sorry this has happened.
I think you'd be best keeping your SNR Target at 6db, it looks as though your line isn't happy syncing at 3db. I've requested this change manually to see if it'll bring the sync back up, if it doesn't we'll continue to investigate.

Re: SNR Change Please

It's gone through but doesn't appear to have brought the service back up - I'm really trying to help you.
I'll leave the Fault Ticket with the Faults Team as I can see they now have this in hand.

Re: SNR Change Please

thanks Chris, i was told the engineer needed to come to my house, no one came but after a random reboot of router my internet came back online, i presume he just went straight to the cabinet and fixed something there.

Re: SNR Change Please

There aren't any notes from the engineer yet, so I'm not sure.
The Faults Team will include the notes from the engineer when they retest your line to ensure everything is working.

Re: SNR Change Please

about 30 mins after my last post openreach called me to inform me the engineer will be on his way soon as his current job is taking longer than expected!
therefore my problem seems to have magically fixed itself without any intervention from the engineer. V strange indeed.
They were quite willing to still come round and check things but i thought it wasnt worth it, in hindsight i probably should have still got them round....
