SMS messages for Faults updates delayed

There seems to be some delay in the system for the SMS updates being dispatched.
Whilst I have no complaint whatsoever about the help received from both James and Richard which was excellent, the initial message was 4hrs after the instigation of the fault and a later message that night arrived 7 3/4 hrs later @0700 the following morning.
Whether the delays were in your provider's message centre or at PN itself I don't know. I have assumed it wasn't my end as other text messages received both days had no delay. You may want to have a look to see if there's a bug in the system.
What makes this slightly amusing in my case was the fact that Openreach had the Fault fixed (at my rural exchange) within an 1 1/4 hrs of report  Shocked  I don't what Richard said to them to get them to move so fast, mind you, so they should have, as the fault was caused by one of their 'engineers'  being somewhat clumsy earlier in the day (and whose mug I shall not forget in a hurry after the porky pies he told me Angry ).
Anyway, thanks again to James and Richard.

Dear Pierre,
If you still think you have a connection problem we can raise this with BT for you. However, as we haven't found a problem with your phoneline or connection during our tests it is likely that BT will also find no fault. You might be charged £169.20 (including VAT) for this.
