Rwin and MTU in Win XP

I have been moved to ADSL2 and get good speed on a Linux Netbook and Win7 desk top on wireless and am on a Samknows/OFCOM test set up, that also gets good results see below, I moved on the 14th Aug
I have tried lots of variations of MTU and Rwin using DRTCP021.exe and dslreports on two WinXP laptops using the same WiFi and router but cant get over 9500,  Any clues

Re: Rwin and MTU in Win XP

Could you post a link to results from a tweak test at DSL Reports run on one of the XP Computers? What MTU is set on your router? And what is your sync speed?

Re: Rwin and MTU in Win XP

pierre,
Have you checked the settings on the network adapters ? they're not set to 10Mbps by any chance are they ?
Had a similar problem in the office when we were upgraded to ADSL2+, couldn't understand why our throughput didn't improve, then we discovered that the NIC in the firewall box ( Smoothwall ) was only good for 10Mbps , doh!

Re: Rwin and MTU in Win XP

Very odd pierre, its quite common to get reduced throughput on wireless but you're also seeing it on the wired connection as well IIRC
Also your Linux and Win 7 boxes are working fine on wireless.
I presume you've tried with XP Firewalls disabled etc ?
