Rural Broadband

Recently www.onlincolnshire.org announced that contracts have been signed to bring superfast broadband to Lincolnshire starting in 2014.
Apart from the generic proposed coverage maps which have been published - when will the detail of the proposed provisioning be available down to end user level?

Re: Rural Broadband

Hi there,
Assuming it's BT Fibre (which it looks like it is, given the contact your ISP page) I suspect you wouldn't get any estimates until there's actually live results to compare it against - fibre was enabled in my area recently and the estimate I received prior to ordering was 'up to 80Mb' and 'up to 20Mb' for upload, so I guess it'd be the same (that was via the availability checker at http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/adsl/adslchecker.welcome )
Hope that helps.

Re: Rural Broadband

I wasn't acutally asking for estimates on speed - it was more details on the implementation of upgrades to the network I was interested in.  What is the procedure for notification of forthcoming changes to the system architecture?
