Not 100% sure where to post this so I'll start here...
Every so often, typically in evenings (tonight/right now being a good example) but also during the day I get horrific packet loss through Vtesse/Interroute links from Plus Net
I have spoken with Interroute NOC who have advised there is no issues on their side on the paths I am testing, and that I should contact my ISP. Indeed, testing from other ISPs doesn't show the same packet loss through the same Interroute infrastructure...
Has anyone else seen similar issues? It looks like peering is through LINX as opposed to direct peering, so I don't know if there is a very specific route issue to LINX for Plus Net? I certainly haven't seen any other routes affected at the same time through LINX. Example IP to traceroute to is 185.40.8.203 (no ICMP end-point response but you can see the route, hop 6 -> 7 in my example is Plus Net -> LINX) - of course sods law has brought the packet loss at the hop down to under 10% in this example but it's typically well over 50% when the issue is occurring for prolonged periods, and results in a lot of TCP retransmissions and general horribleness:
