Router upgrade

Hi

I have recently changed over to PlusNet and although you say my line speed is good and I don't doubt It as did not have any problem with BT, I think it maybe my router is not as good as BT router, Do you have a better router than the one sent to me. There really is no point to have good speed on the line if the Hard ware is not up to high spec

Sue

Re: Router upgrade

Hi Sue,

You have been sent the best router that we currently provide. Are the problems you're having over a wired or wireless connection? if it's wireless could you try changing the wireless channel you're connecting on to see if this gives you a more consistent wireless connection. It may also be worth de-syncing the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz connection frequencies by changing the SSID for one of them so your devices doesn't automatically try switching between these.

More information on changing wireless settings can be found here: https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/router-user-guides/

Why not amend settings & just use your BT Router?

If you'd like to do that there is a conversation here about it Smiley
