Hi All...
I have come over from vodafone at home (not my choice vodafone sold me to plusnet, but will give it try).
I live in an old house and my current wireless router a netgear DG834GSP is ok but I can't get a wireless signal in any other rooms due to the thick stone walls, can I upgrade to any wireless router or do I have to buy from plusenet? I am using an IMac running 10.7.3.
Thanks in advance

Hi there,
You can use any ADSL compatible router with our service, all you should need is your broadband username and password. Having said that though, would it be worth looking at a set of homeplugs and a wireless repeater maybe? Homeplugs carry the network traffic over your existing power wiring, and if you need wireless coverage in an area away from your router you should be able to plug the repeater into the network and it'll set up its own instance of your wireless.
Just a suggestion though, hope it helps
