Router not rebooting - constant green light

Had a couple of power cuts recently and my Plusnet one router went to a solid green light after the power came back. I managed to get it to reboot properly after a couple of attempts but am concerned that all my remote security/ heating / lights etc would not be accessible if this happened when I was at home. Router has-been fine up until now and is probably four years old(?). Does the solid green light indicate a fundamental issue as it doesn't seem to appear as a standard error indicator where I've looked.

@roymaddison Which Hub do you have - I'm guessing either a Hub0 or Hub1?

@roymaddison

have you tried a factory reset using the pin hole? Hold the paper clip in until the lights go out.

@jab1 Hub Two also goes green in times of difficulty

It's a Hub One - post should have said "when I'm not at home" - easy to sort at home!! (So far)

Re: Router not rebooting - constant green light

Done reset etc - issue is that I don't seem to be able to rely on it. Last time it went green my Hive disconnected the holiday mode and put all the heating on! Because I wasn't in at the time, 'green mode' meant I had no access to reset router and correct the Hive!

Re: Router not rebooting - constant green light

Stuck on green suggests the Hub is failing during the self test during a power up or restart

Suggest a new Hub is in order, are you close to renewing, if so call customer options 0800 013 2632  and see what they can do your you
