Router keeps rebooting.

I have been with Plusnet ADSL for just over a month now with no problems. Over the last couple days though my router keeps rebooting.
When it does my upstream snr shoots up from 6.0 - 8.0 to 10.0, also it reconnects at a lower sync speed. Could I have my line checked please for any issues, nothing has changed my end wiring wise.
These are the stats.

Output Power (Up/Down) [dBm]: 12.7 / 0.0

FEC Errors (Up/Down): 0 / 0
CRC Errors (Up/Down): 545 / 38

Edit, done it again as I write!  Bit of a joke.

Re: Router keeps rebooting.

Could be a line problem, of course, but it's possible your router or a microfilter has developed a fault.
I suggest working through the ADSL Connection Troubleshooting Guide to eliminate your hardware. Do you have a spare router you could try?

Re: Router keeps rebooting.

I have an couple of old Netgears stashed away somewhere. I am using an ADSL Nation filtered faceplate.
It could be heat related, have moved the router around a bit to see what happens.
Still like to have my line checked out though, assume Plusnet will pick this up on Monday.

Re: Router keeps rebooting.

That doesn't look like a reboot as the error seconds haven't reset
I think you need to check the router log as it looks more like a resync with the exchange http://192.168.1.254/cgi/b/events/?be=0&l0=1&l1=2

You could be right although the uptime resets.

Re: Router keeps rebooting.

On a resync the up time does reset
I suggest raising a fault at http://faults.plus.net

Re: Router keeps rebooting.

Strangely I got an email & text as I posted this. Looks like a router fault, a new one on it's way.
