Hi
Can you check my stats please and let me know what you think?
System Up Time 57:00:22
Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
WAN PPPoA 718875 926294 0 1040 4812 56:59:11
LAN 10M/100M 74699 880 0 36 0 57:00:16
WLAN 11M/54M/270M 1002833 792506 0 4948 1121 57:00:06
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 8139 kbps 1063 kbps
Line Attenuation 45.5 db 24.1 db
Noise Margin 4.3 db 5.6 db
Does that first bit tell me if i have any data send/receive errors?
Also sinc emy upload uncap it shot up to 1063kbps from 448kbps There is in fact a little bit more i could get out of it but unsure how to tweak my SNR on just upload, i can't really drop the single control i have in my router because on an evening the down SNR drops to about 3db. I'm in my training period still, got connected on Monday 10th

Hi chrish16,
Personally I think you've got very good stats for your line length. Be careful tweaking, you could make things worse. I don't think a few extra K is likely to make much difference to your experience.

We've already answer this question:
Why have you started a new topic?
Quote from: Joanne Hi chrish16,
As Matt said, you're definitely on ADSL2+. With your attenuation registering at 45.5dB the current speed you're getting is above average I would say.

Predicted sync for your attenuation is 7200!
Why have you started a new topic?
