Router Query (Technicolor TG582n)

Hi all
I've just got a new router from Plusnet to use with fibre - (74meg estimated!)
Its a Technicolor TG582n what are the pro's and con's with this model.
I currently have an Airport Express to give me wireless - should still use that or use the router's built in wireless?
I play Call of Duty on our Wii U with an open NAT - can I still do this with the Technicolor (couldn't do it with the old Thomson that PN supplied)
thanks very much
Nathan

Forget the PlusNet router, just configure the Airport Express for PPPoE with your plusnet username/password and connect it to the BT Fibre modem.

Re: Router Query (Technicolor TG582n)

...my current Netgear DG834v4 wired router could do PPPoE, so does that mean I could just plug that in to the BT Modem?

No, it means the DG834v4 could use PPPoE over its ADSL connection.

Re: Router Query (Technicolor TG582n)

I've using the Technicolor now (on my ADSL) seems OK even on wireless with the iPad.
I could sell the old Netgear router and the Airport Express on eBay. If the Technicolor does give me any problems I'll save up for an all-in-one Modem/Router.
thanks
