Router Access Page Soooo Slow

Why am i having issues getting to the router page after typing in it's address? it's taking forever to get to the configuration and i can't manage to alter my wireless settings as it times out on occasions. The software release on it is 10.2.5.2
On my previous one with BE* it's the version 8....J and loaded up pretty much instantly. Is this a router, connection or something else issue?

I saw that effect and it was only fixed by a router reboot

Re: Router Access Page Soooo Slow

fwiw, you can downgrade the TG582n firmware back to v8.x.  I believe you would just lose IP v6 support.

I recall I very briefly loaded v10.2.5.2.FO firmware onto my spare fibre TG582n, and I wasn't at all happy with the response time of the GUI too. I wasn't going to waste my time trying to find out why it was happening, so just reverted back to v8.x.

Re: Router Access Page Soooo Slow

I presume you installed 8.C.M.0 as you have fibre.
You could try pressing the reset button in for 10 seconds ?
This will clear all settings and it can take up to 10 minutes for the router to retrieve your plusnet username and password from plusnet servers to store in the router, before it will successfully connect to the internet (ie. LEDs turn green), unless you manually log into the router and enter the username and password yourself.
